Because it’s winter and the grass stops really growing, and because we have too many horses for our little property, we’re hand-feeding twice daily. I know having so little grazing makes it much more boring for the ponies, so I put up a temporary fence behind the house so they can have a pick in the sun today. They seem very contented, I must say.
The Peepers are also out, on the hunt for tasty morsels.
Days like today are just perfect: a light breeze, the sun is warm but not hot, all the gang are relaxed and happy.
The girls love helping with chores.
You may note our Peepers are now two. The little team seems too small. I will post a proper farewell to our Jupiter Janie soon.
